We have a 2017 Discovery HSE that has been waiting for a new rear differential for 6 months now through our dealer. There seems to be no end in sight with the JLR worldwide parts shortages. We have looked everywhere for new and used ones. You see them listed on eBay and other websites but when you contact the person they don't have them in stock. Does anyone know if there is a differential rebuild kit available? I know they have them for Sports, older Disco's and Range Rovers. It's been a fantastic ride and just want to get it back on the road asap.

What was the cause of the issue?

 

Thanks for the information! Had the diff fluid changed and big chunks of metal and lots of flake in the fluid. It hasn't totally failed but don't want to risk it getting to that point. Also makes a pretty loud grinding noise.
