Hi. I got the 2023 Disco. Metro edition. I wanted to have entertainment system in the rear seats. Anyone here did custom installs?
The click & go base in the rear seats has 5V USB. Most of the systems I am looking in Amazon need 12V DC. I don't want to run the wires to get power from Cigarattle lighter power plug. Any suggestions?
I am thinking of getting IPads & Click & Play connector but really prefer a proper entertainment system with 14" screens if at all possible to install.

 

I don't think you've missed out on rear seat entertainment. We got it in our 2018 - it's fine but quite fiddly to control and run. And at over $3000 at the time it wasn't cheap. The kids all use their iPhones or a $75 Kindle Fire device to stream Netflix instead now. Much easier!

So I can't help you with your specific question. But if I were you I'd just go with a tablet and a click connector and keep it simple!

Only thing impressive on the RSE is the 'white fire' headphones that do great wireless listening

 

Get the 12.9 ipad pro if they have a click and go for that. 5 v will keep it going I think. And the capabilities and speed would be amazing. But two of them and Bluetooth headphones will be over 2 grand. I have LTE on mine and it changed our lives with the kids were little and big.
