I have the rear seat entertainment in my 2018 Discovery. Kids have been using DVDs a lot, but I'd love to be able to plug in a device to play back Netflix / Amazon prime etc through HDMI port onto the screens. I don't want to stream while driving using cellphone data - would download at home on WiFi and play back to hdmi.

Anyone know how to do that? Was thinking if I buy a cheap tablet like Amazon Fire 8 and download Netflix / prime movies and shows, how do I then play it back to the hdmi connector?

 

I copy media to a flash drive. works great.
