Default Should the rear seat be this loose?!

I would normally assume the seat cushion seemingly not being attached to the frame in the front corner is a fault, but given this is Land Rover...

Can anyone else with a D5 tell me if the front of the middle seat cushioning theirs can be pulled up like this? It doesn’t seem right and I’m assuming this is where my rattle is coming from as a laptop bag sitting on it on the way home seemed to silence most of the rattles...

Mine definitely doesn't do that. It is the 7 seat with electric fold. At most it may go up 1/2", closer to 1/4" .

Thanks very much for checking!

It did seem very wrong...

Mine is also the 7 seat with electric fold so they should be the same. I’ll try and look underneath it myself but it’s tricky. Otherwise I’ll get the dealer to sort it...

Seems like the seat cushion wasn’t attached to the frame properly. Basically I pushed it backwards and it clicked in, now it doesn’t lift up.
