Mine too.... probably wrap or new paint from bodyshop (new parts are crazy priced) is the solution!!!

 

Removal of the mirrors is quite involved. You have to remove the inner door panels to start.
If anyone wraps them please post some pictures. Can they be wrapped without removing them?

Very curious to hear the results of anyone getting their blue mirrors wrapped. I'm considering the same, was going to wrap in black to match the trim, just haven't gotten to scheduling that project yet.

 

Well - I hadn't noticed this before. But just looked and sure enough our 2018 is turning blue in the same place. Now I can't unsee it!!

What's the cost of replacement trim?

 

FYI: same odd "black turns blue" issue on my 2020 Defender I've noticed, on my old 2014 RRS and also on my 2018 RRS...

It's not just the mirrors turning blue. I could see a blue tint in the plastic between the furthest rear side window and tailgate and sort of see it in the plastic surround of the rear wiper at the top of the tailgate.

 

Mine are doing the same especially after a wash. I did find it interesting how the mirrors show on my security camera at night....
