I called Land Rover today to buy a replacement key for the Discovery roof rack bars that are on a new to me 2017 Discovery 5 I just purchased. I was told that Land Rover will not sell a replacement key (the lock is clearly marked with a code), but instead will require me to buy two new crossbars which will come with new keys for $399. Land Rover again manages to **** on their customers. Hopefully, a locksmith can help me out. What wonderful customer service. Biggest problem for Land Rover…this will not surprise anyone on this forum!
