20MY Discovery rear seats. These are the seats in the discovery I drove. They were more like bench seats. Very little support.
New Discovery rear seats. These seats appear to be very similar, if not the same, as the seats in the Defender. Those seats were quite supportive and comfortable. You can see they sit a little higher and are longer with more padding. Notice also the front seats have changed and resemble the Defenders seats.
Defender rear seats. These were comfortable. A little different, but keep in mind the seats in Discovery recline. With these seats the bottom flips up to allow the seat back to fold flat(in the two row version only). I will know for sure in a couple of months.

@Pava-Rottie thanks for the input. Looking at the height difference between the seatss and the door handle, they do seem at least an inch maybe two, higher. They certainly look deeper as well.
