Default Sleeping in the D5

Any one have experience sleeping in a D5? I've spent a few nights solo (w/dog) using Therm-O-Rest, but am planning a better longterm solution for when my wife joins..

We've used a memory foam a lot in the past (not really fans of air mattresses), but building a platform seems my most likely route. If I do, I'll want to build something that be easily be carried on the roof rack while driving - or at least able to fold behind the 2nd row.

I'd consider something like this too if only it was able to withstand the elements while on the rack: https://dreamcase.eu

It's a little fancy for me, but then again I am sleeping in a Land Rover...

Width depending, try EXPED mega mat's, they have a single and a duo mat and are excellent camping pads.

That said, you should reconsider the idea of having a system that needs disassembly and relocation to the roof...

Follow up,

D5 interior dimensions are "with seats down, measured at floor"

77.3" L x 55.6" W

Exped megamat duo 10 is

77.6" L x 52" W

Tight fit but near perfect.
