@Sasquatch86 very very nice set up. Hope fun was had by all. Don't know how you got your hands on an Opus, well planned no doubt.

I ordered it last October and picked it up in February from Road Trip Camping in VA. We are loving it. Diesel and air suspension make towing a dream compared to my Tacoma. If you are looking for one try the Facebook page. Seems lots of people are selling 2020-2021 models now barely used for good price. Guess camping isn't for everyone.

I don't understand why the td6 was discontinued, even Ford has stopped putting it in the f150.
As someone who once bought a late 90s BMW as a temporary third car then sold of our others to keep/daily it, I certainly understand the lack of guarantees on used vehicles. I just like to get the best sense I can of how general issues are and how to avoid them.

Thanks for all the input. And trailer ****!

I'm in the same boat right now with my 2013 Infiniti G37 convertible. I leave the discovery for hauling and long trips because the vert is just too much fun daily. But initially I had to fix the POs deferred maintenance. I bought this D5 as a lemon buyback, which meant LRNA had to do a CPO inspection and make all repairs indicated fro the inspection. If you find one you like I recommend the CPO inspection and get a written report as I have had 0 issues since purchasing this over 2 years ago.

I'm at 63k on a 2017 TD6 I bought new. It's been rock solid.

Love my 2017 Diesel. Bought with 53k back in December has 65k now. Towed 7300lb travel trailer from Seattle to Yellowstone with family and gear with no issues. Really impressed with it. Averaged about 14mpg towing and 30 without the trailer hooked up. Towed in mountains at 100 degree weather and no problems.

Only problem I've had us the driver rear door coming open with my kid in the car. Failed door latch at 58k. I replaced myself. I wouldn't expect a modern car to have a failure like that. My other decades old cars are still on original door latches.

I live my TD6. I tow 8k lbs regularly. Handles everything great. Might be the first vehicle I’ll just hang onto. Purchased an extended protection plan good till 186000 miles or like 2028. Covers everything electrical and the air suspension at least. I know there’s a lot more. For $2500 didn’t seem like too crazy an option.

Nice. That seems like a great option. Was it via Land Rover, a dealership, or a private party warranty company?
