Td6 p2002
#31
Anyone have any updates on what has fixed this? P2002 that is. We tried the "so called" premium diesel for a few tanks and the suggested additives earlier in this thread to no avail. Other than about 1.5mpg less fuel mileage, the Disco seems to be running OK.
We are going in for service soon and I'd like to not stare at the CE light any longer if possible.
Thanks!

Quick followup from my long post and others in this thread since last July and a new DPF. I am now getting the 2002 again. Have only driven a few thousand miles since the DPF replacement, most recently a 500 mile freeway trip in 1 day with 1 stop so that should have cleared out anything. I always use the additive the factory told me to add with each tank. Grrrr.

Just FYI for anyone else including the OP [of that's me!]
Well, they finally changed something . . .
My service department tried to do the RESET and hope it doesn't come back while they have it nonsense AGAIN but, fortunately, it came back as they were driving it back to where my wife works. So, they changed both the DPF, the sensor, 2 gaskets, and 2 clamps.
So far . . . so good. Only a couple hundred miles so far though.
Unfortunately, our windshield was NOT leaking before but they did the RECALL on it anyway. I did not ask them to and am now afraid to go get it wet. Have to wait a couple days for the goop to cure to find out that mystery.

Resurrecting old thread. Lots of good info. Recently acquired 2019 TD6 with 27k. Already got P2002. Got it replaced under warranty (still under 4 year bumper to bumper). Slightly concerned about the future. As I've learned DPF has already been replaced before (TWICE)! This warranty discussion is slightly reassuring. One thing I noted though my MPG meter. Is quite a bit off, i.e unreasonably optimistic. Confirmed with last few full tanks. The meter reads oust ~30MPG then wallet and gauge on fuel pump tells me 24 or so. Last tank was 500 miles on 21 gal. Makes me wonder how computer arrives with mpg it shows. Most obvious - pressure and duration of opening injectors. Maybe I"m "rolling coal" on inside somehow it runs rich flooding extra fuel into engine. Makes extra soot - clogs DPF.
What is your real mileage v mpg meter.

ok for last question I think I know the answer but no solution yet. Stupid thing uses imperial gallons 4.54 l/gal instead of US 3.75l/gal
29.4 /(4.54/3.75).= 24.2 pretty much exactly what I observed at the pump.
Now real question is how do I change display between gal, miles, ft to L,km,m. No option to select US gal.
Anybody?
