Default Terrain Response Programs

Upon starting my 2017D5 Lux, the rotary response **** lights up the various terrain programs *****-nilly. They continue to flash and won’t shut off even after double locking the doors. I have to plug in a charger to keep the battery from going flat overnight.
Coincidentally the steering wheel heater switch doesn’t light nor work.

I checked all the fuses at the passenger dash fuse terminal as a leaking windscreen blew a few fuses several years ago.

Any ideas besides a microprocessor going bad?

Thanks
Ron

Is there another fuse panel in the right rear cargo area? I really don't recall.
Maybe you should try disconnecting the battery for a while, and then grounding the positive battery cable (I have never tried this nor had to try it, but I believe it's been discussed in this forum).

That sounds like a ground gremlin from salty roads...

I’ve disconnected the battery for a reset and the two grounds near the battery in cargo area show no signs of corrosion. The inoperative steering wheel heater switch occurred at the same time. ??

Monday into the shop.

I have a Zurich extended warranty never used expiring in March. Hope they’re still in business.
