Default Thicker oil p300?

Anyone running anything thicker in a P300? Perhaps like a 5w30 instead of the 0w20. I live in Texas and we don’t really see deep freezing temp. The water weight oil they put in these new cars is concerning (ie GM’s 6.2l v8 fiasco).

According to the motor oil Geek, Lake Speed Jr., stick with the 0w-20.... just 5K oil changes, or do oil analisis to monitor if you can extend the interval.
