Do you mind starting a thread and what it took to extend the JLR warranty? We purchased in july and i skipped on the extended warranty and was told I could add it later if I wanted to while it was still in warranty... i understand that it can be bought at any JLR dealer and shopping around may be worth doing.

 

I'm not so sure about shopping around....I have a friend in the used car business. He checked a couple who he uses and no one had anything for a LR.
I looked online and struck out too. Can't remember which...I just googled it.

As long as you are under 25,000 and within the year limit, you can get a LR warranty.
250/deductible
75,000 miles from when you buy the warranty
6 years from when you buy the warranty
Transferrable and refundable pro rata if you choose to end it.
Cost is 3,600.

 

Lol i found one after market warranty when i called around a few months ago toball the major player extended warranty companies... it was five figures lol! 3600?... ive heard you can shop around JLR dealers on the cost... i have not bothered yet... thanks for the info... i need to look into it before I'm ineligible.

 

One of the features I like is you go to your home dealer for repairs.... I have found a little loyalty goes a long way in how you are treated when needing something.
Transferrable is invaluable when it is time to trade or sell.
