Default Tires for Non Lifted

Hey guys, I can't seem to find an definitive answer. Will the 20" rims fit 275/55 r20 KO2 tires? I see 275/50/20 and 255/55/20 but no one to confirm that the 275/55/20 will fit, hoping someone will confirm before I have them put on today.

Search for Yokohama Geolander A/T G015 with Johnson Rods Lift

You will see I have installed
Yokohama Geolander A/T G015 275/55R20 tires on the factory D5 rims.

255/55/20's are 30.1" and 275/55/20's are 31". Tons of options at the 275 profile, only two that I know of at the 255 OE spec; Falken Wildpeak A/T and Goodyear Duratrac. If I go to 275 I would look at some Hankook Dynapro AT M's, they looked like a decent AT tread while still being quiet enough on the road. I looked at a 2018 HSE Lux Td6 that had 275/55/20 Duratracs and I thought at the lowest suspension height, if turned all the way, they would slightly rub. But, that probably isn't an issue since any off-roading would be done at a higher height. Discount Tire has an exclusive Goodyear Ultraterrain tire available in the 275/55/20 size, very comparable to the Duratrac's but at a better price.

Thank you guys for that information, ended up going with the Discount Tire Ultraterrain, 275/55/20 being installed now.

Will post a pic after they get installed for other's reference. Next up replacing the air suspension lift brackets.

Looking forward to the pics.

Most 275/55/20 options fit with no lift and no rubbing looking at all the posts here and elsewhere. However some of the more aggressive 275/55/20 options may have some rubbing with no lift. I believe canon_mutant tried to fit Nitto Dura Grapplersbut they rubbed on the spindle and had to use the Geolanders. When the Pirellis wear out, likely before next winter, I will probably go to the Geolanders, not as aggressive, bu good for my wife as a daily driver.

275/55R20s fit I just put on a set last week. The new Pirelli AT plus and they are fantastic tires. Rides like it did with the good year f1 highway tires.

They came out looking great, got the 275/55/20 Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT on stock rims no lift. This is at off road height.

The rubbing on the spindle bracket would be if the tread width is too wide, that's the closest interference point. It is not related to any lift rods as that merely creates clearance between the tire and inner fender well.

It takes longer to remove and replace a wheel than it does to install the lift rods. Just give the top and bottom a shot of lubricant to make it easier to pry off the old rod. I used a golf divot repair tool which had a slot in it and made them pop right off. Easy, easy.

So which 275/55R20 tires are known to rub?
