Default TPMS Post-Rotation

I had my tires rotated, front to back, back to front. Seemed simple enough.

However, the pressure readouts on the dash did not follow. It shows my front tire pressures in the rear position and my the rear tire pressures in my front position.

I've driven hundreds of miles and there has been no "relearning".

Has anybody experienced this and is there a known solution?

Thanks!

I just replaced 4 tires and within 5 miles on my drive home the system found all 4 and displayed correct pressures at correct locations.
Not sure why yours won’t but the tire store should be able to fix you up with a hand held programmer. I’ve never had them use one for me so I’m not sure how it works.

Silly question, but are you certain the shop that rotated actually did the work?

I've never had challenges after rotating on my 2017

If when they replaced the tires, they kept the rims to the original location (left front to left front, right front to right front, ect) then the sensors would not need to re-learn the rims location. The OP's question was on the vehicle re-learning the rims new location.

To answer the questions:
I had new tires about 18 months ago and the TPMS warning was on for about 5 minutes, then reset and everything was ok.
I know the tires were rotated, my son did it and he's a trained/certified auto-technician/mechanic.

Very weird. I guess I'll live with it until I need to take it to the dealer.

Third Rover in a row and the first with this nutty problem.

True, but really unlikely that happened since all 4 were removed at once and install was by two guys using two machines and two balancers
Oh yeah, when I drove away one of the front tires had the pressure I requested for the rear and one of the rears had a front pressure on the display. So I figured I'd just fix it when I got home but it fixed itself in a couple miles.
