TPMS on Spare
So, I've seen both answers on different threads related to TPMS monitoring of the spare. Mine came with a donut, and I upgraded to a full-size spare with the correct TPMS sensor. When I rotate my tires, the four are monitored correctly, so I know all five of the sensors are registering. My question is whether the TPMS should monitor the spare while it's under the car. I've seen some pics of dashboards showing a low tire pressure for the spare, but my system (2017 only the center part of the instrument panel is digital) only shows the pressures for the four tires mounted. Am I missing an antenna for the spare tire?
My 2018 monitors all five incl the spare. It has come up with low tyre pressure warning on the dash for the spare in the past. When weather dropped quite cold one day.
But the menu system only displays actual pressure for the four corners - I don't know that you can view the actual pressure of the spare in the menu system

I have been told if your Disco 5 came with the donut it was programmed to only monitor the 4 tires mounted. I also upgraded the spare with TPMS, tested the new spare with only 10 PSI and it never showed up as a low tire warning. When I rotate it does pick up the newly mounted tire and forgets the tire moved underneath.
