TPMS wont allow for light load
2017 Disco 5 TD6 with the analogue dash. Two years ago when I got the car I set the tire pressures to light load specification and the next time or two I got into the car it said "tires set to light load" - perfect.
Fast forward to february and a dealer pumped all the tire up to 50+ psi when I got an alignment, and now when I lower the pressures at the same time to light spec, the car won't accept it and go into light load mode. This results in the warning light being on at all times and the center message coming up every time i get in the car which is very annoying.
Everything goes back to normal when I fill the tire back up to "normal load" pressure, but I hate driving it around with the tires that hard. So I took it to a dealer and the techs messed with it for 10 minutes and couldn't find a solution so they told me i needed to book an appointment 5 weeks out...
Anyone had this happen and have a solution for the analogue dash? This is very difficult to search for because mentioning tpms brings up so much irrelevant stuff.
