Default Transmission Service

Has anyone done an automatic transmission fluid change?
Since this is a ZF transmission, usually the service involves replacing the pan which includes a new filter inside the pan.
Then filling with proper fluid, bringing it up to a specific temperature, and checking/topping up the fluid at that temperature.

If you have done this, please post your model year, model, the transmission pan or service kit numbers, fluid type and quantity, and where you bought it all.
Thanks

Just checked my service manual. It shows how to drain and fill. Does not mention replacing the pan or filter.
Service procedure attached.

Thanks for the files! What mileage are you at? I'm at 72K, I planned on this service at 85K. I will ask my mechanic for some details on this service.

I’m at 55K miles. I’m planning on doing it at 60K.
Lifetime fluid if you don’t live very long. Why would anyone take a chance with such an expensive potential repair.
I’ve see severe duty change required at 30K. I figure doing it at 60K is worth the peace of mind. Probably 75K would be just fine too.

If anyone knows where to find 1 liter Lifeguard 8 in stock anywhere for <$25 please let me know. It's impossible to source right now for some reason. The dealer wants $91 for the LR branded stuff.
