Valentine 1 Gen 2 in 2020 Discovery

Does the solar attenuating windshield interfere with the V1 radar detector? I know there are two unprotected areas of the windshield near the rear view mirror. But I'm wondering if I have more flexibility. Thanks.

It does, but not to the point to make it unusable.... however, my experience it is that the signal is reduced quite a bit.

Thanks. Well, hopefully, I'll be able to fit it in where the windshield isn't protected. If not, at least the V1 is known for its range.
