Default Vulnerable heat exchanger protection?

Through the lower front bumper the heat exchangers seem pretty vulnerable... and one member here had a major ussue due to it.

I've been brainstorming and hadn't thought too hard but saw this thread on the saudi grilles for older discos where people mimicked them with rain gutter gaurds for a house. Any thoughts on rain gutter gaurd protection down there? Has anyone else added any protection?

I've lost several radiators and ac condensers on my company Sprinters (I'm convinced Mercedes makes them from an alloy slightly above paper maché but that's another issue) and I want to get ahead of any issues for the Disco especially since we want to use it off the beaten path.

It seems to me like the member in the other thread had the dynamic pack where the grilled are removed from the front corner vents and replaced with those black plastic strakes. I think the risk of damage via stones coming in via the center opening is much lower (although granted not impossible).
That said, if there was an aftermarket stone guard that could clip in I’d buy one however I’m not concerned enough to slap some homemade mesh in there...

The non-dynamic guard is sufficient enough that bugs get stuck in mine. Notice I added the aftermarket dynamic vents on top. I also noticed the LR Dynamic Pack front bumper does not include the guard. However, the Dynamic grill seems like it would do a better job with debris than the standard grill.

I've got the dynamic black whatever package from the factory and i feel like i can see right through the corner openings where the strakes are.

Yeah I’d feel very uncomfortable with that setup...
Maybe you can swap the original grilles in?

I guess I don't know how the non dynamic ones look as far as what can pass through them. Anyone have a close up shot?.. I'll do one of mine when I get home... not really keen on getting rid of them as my wife likes the strakes and they came on there factory as part of the Landmark Edition package.

Here is through the front passenger side. It is pretty vulnerable.
