Default NEED HEAT

My 2000 RR 4.0 is stuck in ac mode. I have changed the air flow to the "face area" and closed the vents to keep from freezing, but it is getting cold outside now and I have no heat through the vents or the demister area. Without replacing the acuator, is there any way to force the heat on? I have the temp set at HI, and the ac off (which helps a little). Seems like there should be some way to shut off the ac and force the heat on. I HATE climate control

Take it into your Rover shop, have them plug in and scan your system to see what is actually wrong.
