I hope I do not bore you with so many questions, I have removed the passenger seat and the right of the second row, I have drawn water to irrigate a part of the desert ...... I have located the connector through which the water should come out of the vehicle and it is apparently well placed, to access it, you should at least release the positive of the battery, it may be a rookie question but if I release the positive then it does not give alarms in the box? Greetings and thank you very much.

Hi Pernison,

Removing the battery will be fine. You have to disconnect it anyhow when you change a battery. I didn't have to remove mine to get to the tube.

I presume yours is leaking at the sunroof drains yes?

Hello again, I'm still looking for the water to enter and I think it's coming in through the windshield and also through one of the roof drains, right now I'm trying to dry the carpet and the interior.

Hello again, I just removed the carpet from the third row of seats because I can't find where the water comes out, the roof drain pipe is well inserted in its housing, the one that was loose was the battery breather (which it's right under the roof drain) and I've already hooked it up. Any other idea to be able to search more? The windshield is going to be dismantled to seal it again. Cheers and thank you again.

Have you checked both sides of the window drain?
The only other option is the AC condenser. When you run the car with the AC on, does the water drip below the car? If not, it may be the AC condenser drain is blocked, and the water is draining out in to the car.
The only other option is the sunroof drains on the roof. However, if it is leaking here, it would be obvious.

Once you have dried everything as best you can, test for water leaking around the windscreen.
However, because you have water in the rear, it has to be coming from the rear. (unless you park the car on a hill with the rear lower?)

These cars are sealed units. There is no other way water can get in.

Are the footwell carpets wet in both the passenger front and passenger back?
If you lay some paper towels on the carpet to soak up some of the liquid...does it come up blue?
The washer fluid for the rear wiper is fed via a tube that runs from the reservoir under the hood
all the way bac to the tailgate.
This tube runs under the carpet along the passenger side.
Mine cracked / split somehow and all the washer fluid drained into the cabin.
Could this be what’s causing your issue?

Great find. I didnt spot that one.
The water under the carpet takes weeks to dry. The foam is very hard but it does soak. Once you lift the carpet up, if you see standing water, that is normal. As the area under the carpet is well sealed and if you let it evaporate without lifting the carpet, it would prob take months.

Hello, I have checked that tube and it is not from there either, so I am running out of options, I have found under the third row seats a badly placed plug through which water does enter but only when the vehicle is running. The good thing is that having disassembled all the seats and removed the carpet, I have been able to dry it in front of the hearth fire, I have reassembled everything because in a week they will disassemble my windshield to seal it again and I hope that this will solve everything , I will inform you. Thanks and greetings to all.

Hello, yesterday they dismantled the windshield and mounted a new one, the technician told me that when checking the studs that come down from the roof of the vehicle, there is an area where the sheet "sinks" slightly and that in temperature changes the seal does not work. its work correctly and that is why water got in... I want to think that The water in the rear part was because during the heavy rains we have had, the vehicle was parked on a slope and with the front facing upwards because I have not found no other point through which the water could enter. I wait for the next rains and that they have succeeded with the repair, now what we have is quite cold, right now hovering around -3º C. In any case, I will inform you of any new developments. Thank you all for your advice and help. Greetings.
