What tire and wheel sizes if I go to 20?
Hi there,
Ive got factory 22s with 285/45/22 rubber. I am fairly certain thats a 9.5 wide wheel, and im
uncertain of the offset. Can anyone give me detailed info on what width and offset I can/should go with if I go to 20 wheels?
My goal is to go to 20s to fit bigger sidewall A/T tires. I think Id like to go with Nitto Ridge Grapplers. So - if I can keep a 9.5 wide wheel, what 20 tire size would be the biggest I can fit without rubbing? 275/55/20?? Or could I go 275/60/20?? I would almost certainly do a 1.5 rod lift with this setup, BUT, I would like it to fit with a stock setup as well - just in case there are airbag failures or anything like that.
Any input is appreciated! Bonus points if you can show me pictures with details of your wheel width, offset, and tire size!

Ok, thanks! Will that depend on wheel width? Still trying to figure out what the optimal width and offset is - and not sure if I want to try to pick up used factory 20 wheels or go with aftermarket (maybe redbourne?) wheels.
