Default Wire routing from rear of roof rack to interior?

Anyone have a good way to run wiring into the rear of the D5?

planning to run antenna cable from a WeBoost to the interior as well as some lights (later on).

thanks

I ran mine from the roof rack down to where the hinges are on top of the door. (Also used some left over KC light wiring retainer to hold the wires flush to the roof). From there if you pull the door seal back you there are two half circle cuts in the metal where the seal clips onto. These are just enough for my gmrs antenna wires on one side and my rear rack lights on the other. The wires are not clamped too tightly by the weather strip to cause issues and no issues with the door sealing. I tried a few other ways and this seemed to work the best. I will get a closer picture of it tomorrow in the day time.

would love to see close ups. So you entered through the rear passenger door or the lift gate?

top of the seal on the lift gate and then run down along the inside of the seal to the floor. From there tucked along where the plastic and the carpet come together. Once I got to the rear passenger doors it is run under the plastic kick plates. Out camping this week so when I get some daylight tomorrow I will get some detailed pics.

Ah, I see.

My issue is that the WeBoost wire is fairly thick and fitting it through the exterior of the lift gate (the plastic spoiler at the top) is super tight and I don’t want to crack the spoiler or crimp the wire.

But maybe your pics will shed some light!
