Hello all,
I’m new to the Rover world and new to the site. I have read a lot of the threads on the site and it’s nice to see there are a lot of helpful folks on here.
I have had my Rig for a few months and bought it with the intent of doing an Overland rig, I have learned recently that the tranny is having an issue shifting through the gears. It seems to shift if I let off the throttle but definitely needs help of some kind.
I have checked the fluid and it has plenty and it does need to be changed so I will do that, do any of you all have recommendations? I have read that if you do a filter change with fluid it can help but something tells me we may need a rebuild.
The Rover has about 191k on it and it has had a new cam and some other internals done so I think it is good there. One thing that has been done is all the emissions have been yanked off of it we don’t have any requirements we live they did a good clean job there but don’t know if that is affecting it.
Any help would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance.
