Hey, I'm obviously new here, to owning a Discovery as well.
I have a 1999 Discovery.... well I'm a bit unsure how to interpret everything so I think that's what it is. When I run the VIN it pops up as just a 1999 Discovery, but the manufacturer date is 6/98 on the door panel.
So it's a confusing mess I'm working on and through so I can get some work and restoration done. Help me make sure I'm ordering/ buying the right parts!!
I'll definitely be perusing through these forums, asking questions and doing research.

Odometer the night after getting it home from purchase. Snap shot of what I have.
If anyone looks at this in the future, I have figured out the model and VIN stuff so appropriate part selection is a breeze now. All thanks to previous posts in these forums. I don't think I would have been able to interpret it all without that, so thanks to all of those OP's. Finding the right tools ahead of time for me.
