Hi. Firstly thanks for letting me join this site.
I just bought a 1999 Discovery 2 and there are loads of electrical problems, nearly all of them I'm pretty sure is caused by the leaking sunroofs. I am slowly working my way through them with the help of posts on this site.
The issue I'm stuck with at the moment is both front seats will not move forwards or backwards. I took the switch unit apart and cleaned it, which made the seat move in other positions, when trying to move it forwards or backwards the motor makes a click and the drive linkage bar under the seat from the end of the motor to the seat runner on the other side of the seat gives a jump as if it wants to turn, then stops. What would the problem be. Is the runners stuck somehow?
