I’ve had my LR 4 for 2 years and LOVE it. I brought it to the dealer today for service on a recall and when they returned it to me the auto access height no longer worked. It’s worked the entire time I’ve owned it. The only time I use the manual access is when I enter my garage. They claim that 3 service techs said my car doesn’t have that feature at all. When I came home I played around with the car some and realized that the car will still raise automatically after I put it in drive, it just won’t lower after I’ve shut the car off. I’m vertically challenged and although I get how stupid this is and yes I know I could just manually lower it before I get out, I usually have a lot on my mind so trying to remember that or remembering that I have to step higher to get in isn’t likely to be a quick fix! Odds are more in favor of me suffering some horrible injury first …..and probably several times before it sinks in. So if you could just skip over telling me that I’m just a dumbass and tell me how to make my car go back to what it was doing I’d greatly appreciate it! ❤️❤️
