After 12 years of waiting, '04 Disco 2
Took a while to find, but it is as mint as you can get w/o a new engine and a paint job. Both will be done in a few years. For now, this is my daily driver, going strong with a solid 13.1 MPG average and 109K on the clock.
Highlights:
- New interior
- 2" TF suspension
- New front drive shaft
- SS brake lines
- New Rotoflex
- New pretty much everything under the hood: lifters, rockers, cam, fuel injectors, all pumps, all sensors, all hoses, etc.
- 265/75R16 BFG ATs
- New A-pillar moldings, lower windshield cowling
- D1 wiper arm conversion
- Tricked out Alpine
- Steel front bumper
To be done:
- Rear steel bumper
- New lights all around
- Paint job
- Reseal all the windows with new rubber
- Turner Engineering engine (in a few years)
