Default Bought my first Land Rover & I am in love

Hello, I am new to the group and hope to learn a lot from all of you Disco veterans. I just purchased a 2002 SD from the original owner who cared for her dearly.

I look forward to taking her out on the trails in Southern California soon. All of my friends have Jeeps so I hope to meet some fellow Land Rover owners out there.

Looks great. Mine is similar, at least when I finish up a few more upgrades soon. I would say that with all those accessories, I sure hope the PO added CDL at some point. If not, after checking the front drive shaft and thermostat, and any other items for general maintenance, CDL should be on your radar.

Also, there are a lot of Southern Calif. guys on the Land Rover Repair forum if you do not find many here to hit the trails with. I am not sure how active that forum is lately, but a lot of left coast guys on there a few years back when I started my LR life.

Thanks guys! The previous owner had all of the work done at West Coast Rovers and even came with full skids, CDL, front and Rear ARB air lockers, upgraded drive shafts, and a few other things.

I will check out the SoCal group for others in my area, but expect to see pictures of it out on the trails!
