You have to base tire decision on the type of use the truck will see. I have more of an off road set up. Lifted, bigger m/t tires, and all that business. Before all of that, I had bfg all terrains. I liked them. They preformed great on road and did fine in most off road conditions. I use those same a/ts on my other trucks that are primarily on road with occasional off road use, when necessary.
So many choices when you are buying tires.

Yeah I think I've nailed down a nice happy medium between road and all terrain. Think I'm going to go with the General Grabber AT2; good reviews and good warranty.
I meant to ask you earlier about your opinion on oil... I've read through some of the threads debating between full synthetic and dino, so I wanted to get your take. I've always used full synthetic in my other vehicles, but theres such a conflicting opinion on it in the forums. As I unfortunately don't know what type/grade was used during the last change in my Disco, I've got nothing to go on.
By the way, thanks so much for your input! I really appreciate your time.
I spent four hours today taping off, prepping and cleaning my fender flares for repainting. Excited to start in the morning since the sun will be out!
Oh and do you have any photos of your Disco? I dig the off-road look and hope to one day work up to that!
