Discovery 2 '99 side view mirror issue

Discovery 2 '99 side view mirror issue
On my '99 Discovery 2 the side view mirrors do not pivot out far enough. In the extreme out position 2/3 of the view is the side of my vehicle, and the other third is almost directly behind the vehicle, but not to the lane beside the car at all. Any help out there ? Thanks
