my rover has been running rough for a while now so i bought new coil packs, new wires, new plugs and has overheated a few times. i have lost power and i dont know why until after installing all of these parts last night, i wake up and start her up and white smoke is coming from the tail pipe smelling like antifreeze. there is definitely power loss and still running rough. is this my head gasket? could it be anything else before i purchase the part? im new to the site so let me know. thanks

 

whats your mileage? are you losing coolant? you throwing the CEL? sounds like its time for the old AB HG kit with new head bolts.

 

The mileage is 129k and I can't tell if I'm losing coolant cause I need a new expansion tank. Also I'm not seeing a cel shown but is there a for sure way to tell if the gasket is blown? Could it be anything else? Thanks
