Hello All! Well I've gotten to that age in life where I'm affluent enough to buy an extravagant toy and just young enough to enjoy it for a few years before they take my drivers license away. So we went out and bought an 04 Discovery II SE7. We have dreams of tricking this thing out, big tires, rack, tow line, big tires... lots and lots of big tires. Because you need stuff like that when you live in L.A. Anyway this has been one of my dream cars, well sorta, my dream car is a Defender but I'm not that affluent, nor do I think my son will one day become affluent enough to buy me one, so this is it, my dream car.


I've always loved the style of the early Land Rover's. That basic, utilitarian look that says this this car was built for the bush, not the 405. Someone once told me that the first car most people in the third world ever saw was a Defender. That's history. And although my Desco isn't a Defender, I can dream! Besides it's all paid for.
