doess anyone know where i can find out what engine the 2004 RR has i heard it was a V8 from BMW...is that true? i know the 2006 has a jaguar engine.

 

No it wasn't out of a BMW, is it a buick engine that was built back in 1961 and has been used ever since by Rover with slight changes always being made. Rover started with it as a 3.5, went to a 3.9 then a 4.0, a 4.2 and the last of the engines the 4.6.

Yes the 2004 Ranger Rover has a 4.4 engine built by BMW.
