Hey everybody,
I acquired a discovery 1 that wouldn't start and needed to be towed home. When I would turn the key on I couldn't hear the fuel pump run.
The first thing I did was open the fuel pump access cover to have a look. The fuel pump power plug was unplugged!
I plugged it back in and she has been fantastic.

Nice score! Looks like a super clean D1. Welcome to the D1 club. Btw, fuel pump on my 97 SD went out at about 75K. Fortunately, it conveniently quit at the top of the hill in my neighborhood and I was able to coast into the driveway, park, and order a new one which arrived a few days later.
