Default FNDIIO....

I bet most of you opened this just to see what the acryom(FNDIIO) was for... Friendly New Discovery II Owner. This my first Rover, I have owned a few 4 x4's in the past and in fact I traded in a 94 GMC 4 X 4 long bed to get my 2003 D2. I have been reading up on the D's and had heard that the 03's where a fairly good choice, I have talked to afew people and all that. I live outside of Nashville, TN so I have some fairly neat places to play. I am working with a stock D2 so I want to take my time on mods and such... but the one thing I really wanted was the brush guard package, the D2 I choose didn't have this and I didn't think that it would be that big of a deal to find one. My education so far has taught me that the 03-04 D2 use a simular Brush Guard and will not change with a 2000-2002.

I still have my warn 8000 lb winch from my truck so I'll be looking into ways of mounting that for use on my D2. I was thinking of a cradle system to hook into the hitch receiver..still playing with that idea...

Well I don't want to wonder tooo far of topic... I picked a D@ for the towing, room for the kids and cause it looks cool.

Thanks

Doug
