HELP!!! TAILGATE LOCK FAILURE

PLEASE HELP THE TAILGATE ON MY RANGE ROVER 1999 IS FAILING TO OPEN COULD ANY1 GIVE ME ANY ADVICE ON HOW I CAN GET IT TO OPEN AGAIN. THANX

99% of the time there's just dust and crap building up inside the handle. Spray some silicone lubricant in there and keep working it. In the future though, try to post things in the correct section.
