Freelander II 2009
Hi all,
I recently bought myself a 2009 Freelander II. It's got a fair few miles on it (115K) but although there's that diesel rattle, she's not too bad. Cost me about £180 for the dealer to find and fix a parking sensor fault last week, and a month or so earlier as the hot weather started, I found that the aircon wasn't working; turned out to be a hole in the condenser, so that was more money, but the dealer agreed to forego the labour charge and I just has to pay for the condenser unit, about £130. I'm hoping it doesn't continue to rack up expense like this!
I'm an old bloke of seventy with minor mobility problems due to a damaged knee, and the reason I bought the Freelander was mainly because it was the only vehicle at my dealer's that was automatic with high enough seating. I'm hoping I'll come to love it.
