Default RE: front central door locking

There are electro-mechanical actuators that move the linkage in each door. There are also what is referred to as "outstations", a electrical black box behind the door panels. Sit in the vehicle and push one of the buttons down on the driver or passenger door. Do they stay down or pop back up?

The actuators do fail with some regularity, the outstations less often.

Check it out and get beack with more info. If none of the doors were locking when you turn the key in the drivers door from outside of the vehicle, the drivers door latch itself would be suspect.

Geoman
