Just drove home my new (to me) 2012 LR2. Only 48K miles and one owner. First time LR for us. Last British auto was a 1961 Sprite. This vehicle is not so simple as that was. Only car you could push, jump in and pop the clutch to start by yourself.
Car was a trade in for a new Porsche Cayenne with very low mileage so I did not think any independent mechanical check was needed. Do you think it wise now to have a LR dealer do a simple safety check before driving it much?
And any tips as to a great LR repair shop in the South Bay around Torrance CA? Have heard horrors on the Factory Dealer near here.
