Default Greetings!

Hello Rover community! I’m Andrew, and I’ve been a Land Rover owner for over 2 years. It’s a 2001 Discovery 2 with 186k miles and it’s name is Henry lol. I used to go out every weekend when I lived in Phoenix but have recently moved to Chicago with no luck finding some fire roads or anything like that.

I’ve been able to do a lot of the maintenance work and repairs myself some stuff goes to the dealer. I want to make sure Henry has a long operational life. A goal of mine is to drive to Alaska and document that journey with a ton of pictures.

Looking forward to talking with everyone here!

Howdy potna! Welcome to the forums!
I’m originally from Chicago (Rogers Park) and my first military assignment was in Phoenix back in ‘90. I married my wife there and we loved the 4 years I was stationed there!
We had chance to drive to Phoenix in 2014 and saw how much the cities around there expanded in 24 years.

Hi there! That would’ve been an awesome site to see with the differences there. There’s SO many people moving there it gets crazy lol. Thankfully they’re keeping all the housing still in the valley. Still only takes about 30 min or so to get to a trail and get lost in the wilderness 👍
