If you live in NYC, you must be an expert mechanic, I heard they have to take the engine block inside every night!

No I live in Western New York so its not that bad here but I do do what I can on the truck which is mostly everything but tires and stuff you need a special machine for. Lucky for me on the Disco 1 the tranny has been dropped and put back up 3 times.

But its gonna be a little bit before im ready to do any major off roading cause i still need to get a new set of tires, install the CDL ive got from a '97, a winch, not sure if i wanna get a whole new bumper cause mine did come cracked, and just beef everything up to handle offroading. If you know of anyone on the LR forums in western new york please refer them to me cause im looking for some local trails to ride on. Or if you know of any but you are kinda far away. Im willing for a day trip head about 2-3 hrs so syracuse watkins glenn elmira around there is about the max id go for a day trip. also any good possibly frowned upon areas that are good feel free to pm me about any good areas

not sure where in Western NY you are from. There is not much wheeling out there. The guys from Lucky 8 Off Road are outside of Buffalo. Trips down 81 into PA are common for a weekend of wheeling for Rovers on the Rocks or NELRC's the ANNUAL. Lucky 8 also run an Easter Expedition every Spring into Canada

I have to check out Lucky 8 i guess in the meantime ill just keep looking on google maps and traveling on some backroads for trails. maybe one day over the summer ill take a ride to where you are if there are some good trails out that way
