Hello-
I added a 2001 Discovery II to our household fleet a little over a month ago. We bought it to go places that our regular cars couldn't take us. After getting a thorough* service from a local independent LR service shop, we've been to Santiago Peak, the highest point in Orange County, and the Anza-Borrego desert. The Disco has fulfilled its mission well so far. Thanks to information I've gotten from the community here, I've purchased tools to help prevent some problems and deal with other problems as they occur.

* I thought it was a thorough service until I started reading the stickies in the D2 forum. It's going back for a front driveshaft replacement, a gray 180 degree thermostat and Dexcool exorcism when the parts arrive.
