Greetings from Tennessee
Well, I just traded in my beloved Nissan Xterra for a 2004 LR Disco II. I finally have my dream car! I have a couple questions that I hope yall will answer. Converting from IFS to Solid front axel is a happy adjustment, but what do you guys recommend in the 2 in. lift department and what tires do most LR owners like the best, preferably an all terrain.... sorry for the newb question... i just made money on my trade in so I am looking to blow it on the rover. Thanks guys, look forward to cruising this forum!

An OME lift is the tried and true way to go, but the TerraFirma brand is becoming popular on this site....go through Justin at lucky8 off road, I hear good things.
The hot tires I've noticed since I've been on are either the General Grabber A/T2 or the Goodyear Duratrac. BFG A/T KO is a good option if you don't have to deal with snow/ice, I run 32x11.50 BFG's on my FJ40 and love the look, ride and the quietness on-road.
As for me? When my stock size Michelin's wear out I will be purchasing an OME lift and Duratracs....
