Default Hello

Hello all been reading this site for a while. I've had my 98 disco for 4 yrs now. Want to start working on it on my own but so hard with kids and work. If anyone knows of good mechanics near the poconos, pa please let me know. Also if anyone out there work on their own and is up to help me work on mine it would be appreciated. But thanks for all the info and knowledge. I'm hooked for sure. Love my truck to death.

Start in our tech area. Pick something simple, like drain and refill differentials, or oil change, and have at it. The RAVE shop manual download is pretty complete. Post questions in the particular area of the forum and you'll get plenty of advice. Take a picture of anything you question and post it as well. Use our search feature. The kids are the reason you DIY (college fund). Some Rover clubs have maintenance days as group events. A 98 Disco is pretty simple to work on.
