Hello from Austin Texas
Hi Everyone-
Yesterday I locked up my first Land Rover. My wife has always wanted an LR3 or LR4 and we finally came across one that we could not turn down. It was only listed on Craigslist for 24 hours before I was able to make contact with her. She bought it from a Rover dealership as a lease return and has owned it for the last six years. It's a 2006 HSE Bonatti Grey with 124K miles but the kicker was the service history. She's kept it in the garage and I have every sched service record (and some other fixes like new air strut, compressor, tires, brakes, etc.) for the last six years.
Paid $11.5 for the rover but it's worth every penny. It's shocking how new it looks inside and out. Headlights even sparkle like new.
Anyways, no doubt I am going to need help from you all. I promise to dig in the forums before posting!
Excited to be here. About to go post these HSE 19's wrapped and the BRAND NEW Michi's she just put on it. Tires have discount tire certs so I hope it helps me fund some 275/65/18's once I can buy OEM 18" 10 spokes.

Niiiiice. Good job on finding one with full history. That, IMO is 90% of the battle. Let us know if there's any problems, but it should treat you just fine
.
Got a similar deal on mine and paid even more than you did, and 25,000 miles later in a year and a half she's in better shape than she ever was.
