Hello from Camden, South Carolina
Hi,
I am new to the forums, but not new to Land Rover. I bought my LR3 brand new in 2006. Of course, it took less than 4 minutes for it to become my wife's LR3. though she let's me drive it SOMETIMES...
The good news is since we only live about ten minutes from my wife's job, the LR only has about 45,000 miles on the clock. since we purchased it new.
BTW, in contrast to the LRs dicey service reputation, I can say with complete accuracy that is over five years of ownership, the vehicle has only needed warranty service twice. Once for a leaky windshield washer tank and once for a CD jammed in the stereo (which was completely replaced free of charge).
One more bit of good news, since my wife "claimed" the LR as her own, she did not put up much of a fuss when I showed up at home one day with a Jaguar XK convertible.
I guess I must have a "thing" for British automobiles....
