Been silently reading these forums without a profile for at least a year... and without a landrover. Always wanted a disco 2 but the timing was never right. The other day I was driving down the road and a landrover was parked there, clearly broken down. There was a number to call, so I did. Long story short; if I fixed it up, it was mine. All I did was clean the leads and replace the battery and the thing started right up. 20 minutes in it started having hiccups again. M and S lights came on and the engins began to try and kill itself. Im sure this is a bad xyz switch. That being said... i couldn't stop smiling the entire trip. Even having to pull over 3 times before I got home. This suv is amazing and something I've dreamed of being in for a long time. To think I own this is just amazing. Look forward to interacting with everyone on these forums.

Definitely! I'll get a post going soon after I've got a full list of things I've replaced and done to it. Right now just taking it day by day as I have a lot of time on my hands to tinker with things. Hoping to troubleshoot the issues with it stalling and blinking m and s lights. Ill have a total cost of parts that went into it soon hopefully. Hoping its nothing too serious haha but hey, its free.
