Hi All,

Just joined the forum after doing a lot of research on the Discovery and found you guys are the best source of info on ownership/maintenance. After looking at Disco's for the past year I've started to seriously look for an '04 SE or HSE as a second car to have fun working on/road trip/drive in winter. Despite some of the big flaws of the 4.6L engine, I'm absolutely infatuated with the model year and would love to get some opinions from current owners.
It all started with a Triumph motorcycle and getting bit by the 'British character' bug that really got me into these machines. If anyone has advice to pass on in my search I would certainly appreciate it. As of now there are a few I've found online, including an HSE with 125,000 miles and a documented maintenance history, is that considered high mileage to you guys? Also, if you know of any LR specialty shops around Danbury, CT let me know!

125K is not high miles to me. But before purchase see if you can arrange an inspection by a competent indy mechanic.
